I love Andrew Carnegie’s framework on how to live a meaningful life. It’s concise.
Divide your life into thirds. Dedicate the 1st third to learning as much as you can. In the 2nd third, earn as much as you can and in the final 3rd of your life, give back as much as you can.
Average life expectancy in the US is 78 years. For the first 26 years, learn as much as you can by going to schools, having mentors, reading books.
From the ages of 27 to 52 earn as much as you can by getting a job, starting a business, starting a youtube channel ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
53 to 78, focus on giving back. Donate to nonprofits of your choosing, dedicate your time volunteering.
I’ve seen a lot of people, celebrities and people I personally know who tend to follow this framework, either voluntarily or involuntary.
